About Us
Approval Reverse Mortgage is a
Gold Star member of the Denver/Boulder Better Business Bureau, and
member of the Phoenix Better Business Bureau. The Company is also a member
of the National Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association (NRMLA), as well as the
Colorado Association of Mortgage Professionals (COAMP).
Joan Sullivan, the founder and President of Approval
Reverse Mortgage holds an advanced accounting degree, and had worked in
various lending capacities in the banking industry for over 11 years before
forming her own mortgage company in 1999. She incorporated Approval First
Home Loans, DBA, Approval Reverse Mortgage in March of 2000 and made the
decision early on to keep the company small so that clients would receive
personal attention.
Today, Approval Reverse Mortgage consists of 10 loan
professionals who work exclusively in the reverse mortgage arena. These
reverse mortgage loan professionals are scattered through out the state of
Colorado and Arizona, and have been accredited by the state of Colorado to
offer continuing education credits to both Financial Planners, and Realtors,
regarding the reverse mortgage program. Each loan officer brings to
Approval Reverse Mortgage years of financing backgrounds, ranging from prior
owners of Real Estate companies, Mortgage companies, Insurance companies,
and CPA firms.
