About Us
Approval First Home Loans Inc. is a
Gold Star member of the Denver/ Boulder Better Business Bureau and a member of
the Phoenix Better Business Bu reau. The Company is
also a member of the National
Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association (NRMLA). Founder and President Joan
Sullivan is a Certified Senior Advisor, designation granted by the Society of
Senior Certified Advisors™.
Joan Sullivan, using her advanced
accounting degree, worked in various lending capacities for over 11 years in
the banking industry. She left banking in 1996 to gain broad experience as a
mortgage loan originator. She decided to form her own company in 1999.
Approval First Home Loans Inc. was
incorporated in Colorado March 15, 2000 and offers Reverse Mortgages under the
trade name Approval Reverse Mortgage. Joa n
made a decision early on to keep the
company small so that clients would receive personal attention.
We offer, in addition
to Reverse Mortgages, conventional mortgage lines. We operate in Colorado
and Arizona. Despite the climate differences,
Arizona and Colorado have a lot in common -- not the least of which are fine
folks who have chosen to retire in the West.
It is our goal to help you learn
if a Reverse Mortgage is right for you. We can then provide access to
Reverse Mortgages for those homeowners who have decided that a Reverse
Mortgage will them achieve their retirement financial goals.
